On 22nd February 2025, seventy-six students of Class VII, along with nine teachers, embarked on an educational excursion to the War Memorial and Amrit Udyan.
At the War Memorial, the students paid tribute to the brave martyrs of the Armed Forces. They were deeply moved by the walls inscribed with the names of fallen soldiers. The eternal flame burning at the memorial symbolized the undying spirit of the soldiers. They also observed informative displays about major battles fought by India.
Next, the group explored Amrit Udyan, a paradise of natural beauty. The garden showcased a stunning variety of flowers in full bloom, including roses, tulips, and marigolds. The students admired the collection of herbal plants, known for their medicinal benefits. The sparkling water fountains added to the serene atmosphere. The Central Lawn, with its lush greenery, provided a refreshing view, while the Long Garden and Circular Garden displayed a unique arrangement of plants in vibrant colours. Besides the gardens, the students also observed various exhibits showcasing the flora and fauna in and around Rashtrapati Bhavan.
The excursion was both educational and inspiring, leaving the students with a deeper appreciation for history and nature.
