Salwan Boys Senior Secondary School observed the Punya Tithi of Shri Shiv Dutt Salwan Ji with deep respect and gratitude. A special morning assembly was conducted, where students recited shlokas from the holy Bhagavad Gita and sang a Shabad in his memory. This was followed by offering pushpanjali and lighting candles to pay homage to the great visionary whose life and values continue to inspire generations.
To mark this day of remembrance, students visited the Geeta Vridha Ashram in New Rajendra Nagar. They offered fruits and snacks to the elderly residents and spent time interacting with them. The warm smiles and blessings they received made the visit truly meaningful.
Another group of students visited the Gurudwara at Old Rajendra Nagar, where a tree plantation drive was organised. Guided by Hon’ble Trustee, Smt. Indu Khetarpal Ji, the students planted saplings as a symbol of growth, service, and the lasting values cherished by Shri Shiv Dutt Salwan Ji.
The day’s activities encouraged students to reflect on his contributions and inspired them to follow the path of compassion, service, and humility.
