Workshop on ‘Step Up and Speak’ Sensitization Programe

Three faculty members from our school—Mr. Ashutosh Kumar Singh (TGT Social Science),
Mr. Anand Kumar Rawat (TGT Hindi), and Mr. Parveen Kumar Rathi
(Librarian)—participated in the ‘Step Up and Speak’ One Day Teachers’ Sensitization
Programme on 15 April 2026.
The programme focused on strengthening the school support system for student well-being,
with special emphasis on early identification of emotional and behavioural challenges among
students. It aimed to equip teachers with practical strategies to foster a safe, supportive, and
responsive classroom environment.
During the training, participants gained valuable insights into:
● Recognising early signs of student distress
● Promoting self-care and resilience among students
● Building effective teacher-student communication
● Creating nurturing and inclusive classroom spaces
The session also highlighted the importance of teachers’ own well-being and provided tools to
manage stress and responsibilities effectively.
The knowledge and skills acquired through this programme will further enhance our school’s
commitment to ensuring a supportive and holistic learning
