National Sports Day Celebrated with Volleyball Matches

Salwan Boys Sr. Sec. School celebrated National Sports Day on 29 August 2026 with great enthusiasm and sporting spirit. The day is observed in India every year in honour of Major Dhyan Chand, the legendary hockey player and one of India’s greatest sporting icons.

As part of the celebrations, inter-class volleyball matches were organised, providing students an opportunity to showcase their skills, teamwork and competitive spirit. An exciting Students vs Teachers volleyball match added to the enthusiasm and made the celebration truly memorable.

The event reinforced the importance of fitness, discipline, teamwork and sportsmanship in the holistic development of students.
