NDRF Conducts School Safety and Community Awareness Programme at Salwan Boys Senior Secondary School

Salwan Boys Senior Secondary School, Rajinder Nagar, organised a School Safety Programme (SSP) and Community Awareness Programme (CAP) on 23 October 2026 for students of Classes IX to XII, in collaboration with the District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), Central District, and the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), 16th Battalion, Dwarka.

The programme focused on disaster preparedness, emergency response and safety awareness. Through demonstrations and awareness sessions on fire safety, first aid, rescue techniques and emergency evacuation, students gained valuable insights into responding effectively to unforeseen situations.

The initiative reinforced the importance of alertness, preparedness and responsible action, empowering students to contribute towards building a safer and more resilient community.
