Ensuring the safety and preparedness of students is a top priority of our institution. In line with this commitment, a Fire Safety Mock Drill was conducted on 15 April 2026 during the school assembly to educate students about emergency response and fire safety measures.
The session was effectively led by Mr. Ashutosh Kumar Singh (TGT Social Science) along with Mr. Baldev Singh (Lab Assistant). They demonstrated the correct usage of a fire extinguisher (fire cylinder) and explained the essential steps to be followed during a fire-related emergency.
During the demonstration, students were made aware of:
● The types and uses of fire extinguishers
● The correct technique to operate a fire extinguisher
● Safety precautions to be followed during a fire incident
● The importance of staying calm and alert in emergencies
To make the session more interactive and practical, teachers and students were also invited to participate and try using the fire extinguisher under supervision. This hands-on experience helped build their confidence and understanding of fire safety procedures.
The drill was highly informative and engaging, leaving students better equipped to handle emergency situations responsibly.
