Salwan Boys Sr. Sec. School organised a workshop on E-Waste Recycling: Mission LiFE on 08 December 2025 in collaboration with Green Eco Link Pvt. Ltd. The workshop aimed to create awareness about the growing issue of electronic waste and the need for its responsible disposal to conserve the environment.
The resource person explained about the classification of e-waste, its harmful impact on soil, water and human health, and demonstrated simple ways to manage it through Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. Students also learned how to safely discard dead batteries, old mobile phones and other unused electronic gadgets.
The workshop encouraged students to adopt mindful habits and understand that even small actions—repairing, recycling or reusing—can protect the environment in a big way. It successfully reinforced the spirit of Mission LiFE: Lifestyle for Environment.
The response from the students has motivated us to conduct many more such events in the coming days.
