April, observed globally as Autism Awareness Month, was celebrated in our school with great enthusiasm and sensitivity. The initiative aimed to spread awareness and promote acceptance and inclusion of individuals with autism. A special assembly was organized where teachers delivered informative talks, helping students understand autism and the importance of empathy. Students also participated actively through speeches and poem recitations, sharing meaningful messages about respect and inclusivity. To encourage creativity and expression, students took part in poster-making activities, showcasing their understanding of autism through thoughtful artwork. A hand-printing activity was also organized, symbolizing unity, diversity, and support for individuals on the autism spectrum. The month-long initiative not only raised awareness but also instilled a sense of compassion and responsibility among students. Overall, the celebration was a great success in promoting an inclusive school environment.
