Salwan Boys Sr. Sec. School organized an Anti-Drug Abuse Awareness Programme on 24 April 2026 as part of a week-long initiative by Delhi Police to educate youngsters about the harmful effects of drug abuse on their health, studies, and overall life.
Around 185 students from Classes IX to XII participated actively. They were encouraged to stay away from all forms of addiction and to spread awareness in society. Students and teachers also took a solemn pledge to lead a drug-free life and motivate others to do the same.
In continuation, Delhi Police conducted an awareness session for Class XII students under the campaign titled “Nasha – Not Cool”. The session, aligned with the national Nasha Mukt Bharat mission and a zero-tolerance policy against drugs, sensitized students about substance abuse. Students listened attentively and pledged to stay away from drugs.
