Our school enthusiastically celebrated Earth Day on 22 April 2026 with great zeal and a strong commitment towards environmental awareness and sustainability. The celebration aimed to sensitize students about the importance of protecting our planet and adopting eco-friendly practices in their daily lives.
The morning assembly was thoughtfully conducted by the students of Class VIII, who showcased their creativity and concern for the environment through a variety of presentations. The program began with impactful speeches in both Hindi and English, highlighting the urgent need to conserve natural resources and combat environmental challenges.
A thought-provoking Nukkad Natak (street play) was performed, conveying a powerful message about environmental degradation and the role of individuals in bringing about positive change. The students also presented an energetic rap song, spreading awareness in a modern and engaging manner, followed by a beautiful Hindi poem that emphasized the beauty of nature and the responsibility to preserve it.
A special Earth Day Pledge was administered during the assembly, where students and staff collectively promised to protect the environment, reduce waste, and adopt sustainable practices in their daily lives.
To further reinforce the message, a tree plantation drive was carried out within the school premises, encouraging students to actively contribute towards a greener and healthier environment.
The celebration was both educational and inspiring, leaving a lasting impression on all present and motivating everyone to work towards a cleaner and greener Earth.
