Legal Literacy Club Activity

On 03 April 2025, Salwan Boys School hosted a Legal Literacy competition organized by the Central District Legal Services Authority under the aegis of NALSA and DSLSA. As part of the Delhi Government’s initiative ‘Samvidhan Ki Pathshala’, launched in collaboration with the Department of Law and Justice and NLU, our students participated in painting, poster-making, essay writing, and a Constitution quiz focused on equality, fundamental rights and duties.

These engaging activities aimed to foster awareness of legal and constitutional values amongst the children. In order to further deepen their understanding of the Constitution, a session was conducted on 05 April 2025 by Shri Tejaswi Goel, Advocate at Tis Hazari Court. The session laid emphasis on “The Indian Constitution – The Supreme Law of India”. During his talk he informed students about writs, rights, and protective laws that empower citizens.

These activities serve as great motivators for students who are keen to take up the legal profession after completing their studies. The students get an opportunity to interact with legal luminaries and clear their doubts. It also helps them in becoming law-abiding citizens of India.
