Salwan Boys Senior Secondary School, Rajendra Nagar, actively participated in “Ride to Safety 2026”, a nationwide road safety initiative organised by ICICI Lombard in collaboration with the Prabhaav Foundation, as part of ICICI Lombard’s 25th anniversary celebrations.
The programme was held on 10 August 2026 at Kamani Auditorium, New Delhi, and was graced by Shri Nitin Gadkari, Hon’ble Union Minister for Road Transport & Highways. The event focused on promoting responsible driving, helmet use and adherence to road safety rules, while also marking a Guinness World Records™ attempt for helmet distribution.
Representatives of the school participated in the programme at Kamani Auditorium, while a Helmet Distribution Drive was subsequently organised at Salwan Public School, Rajendra Nagar. Helmets were distributed among students and their parents to encourage safe two-wheeler riding and reinforce the importance of wearing a helmet every time one rides a two-wheeler.
The initiative provided an opportunity to sensitise students and parents about road safety and encouraged parents to lead by example. The school appreciates ICICI Lombard and the Prabhaav Foundation for their efforts in promoting a culture of safety and responsible road behaviour.
The programme carried a simple yet powerful message:
“Ride Safe. Reach Safe.”
“No destination is more important than reaching home safely.”
